Web Site Programmer
We are seeking a Programmer for contract work. We develop internal and client web-base
applications as well as front-end web sites. Your responsibilities may include the design
and implementation of a MySQL database, developing extensible architecture and framework
for fast growing family of web sites, or Troubleshoot issues with web server, database,
security, network, HTML, XHTML, Javascript, PHP, and XML.
Responsibilities include:
Significant experience (5+ years) with open source development tools and language (strong working knowledge of PHP, mySQL and Apache required)
Experience in developing scalable web applications
Experience with structured development methodologies; clear ability to determine and document requirements
SQL experience w/ 5+ years of on-the-job experience, primarily with MySQL 4
PHP master w/ OOP experience
Valid XHTML/CSS master w/ on-the-job experience building dynamic web pages and coding by hand creating css layouts vs. table-based
JavaScript (and the W3C DOM) master w/ 3+ years of on-the-job experience
XML expert w/ 2+ years of on-the-job experience
DB Design expert w/ 3+ years designing and building databases
Object Oriented programming expert w/ 3+ years of on-the-job experience
Web design expert w/ 3+ years designing and developing web content, including image manipulation, logos, etc.
Experience implementing security on web-based applications
Exceptional planning/application design skills
Excellent communication skills
Able to demonstrate prior projects utilizing the required skills listed above. We will ask for code samples. Must be able to 'hit the ground running' with minimal training time.

Technical writing/documentation expertise
BS/MS degree in Computer Science
