Artist's biography and statement from 1997

The next opportunity came with a company called TMC Media. They were also a multimedia company that created 2d and 3d multimedia content. At TMC Media, I got my hands on 3D Studio Max, Macromedia Director, Avid Video Suite and much more. At TMC, I began a rough draft of my web site. While grappling with the internet, I had called my ISP to ask a few technical questions. The only thing I got out of tech support was "Who did these drawings?"' and "How much do you charge?" I finally did get my technical question answered! I did not realize how important this phone call would be.

A month later I got an e-mail from my ISP asking if I was available for freelance with Lucent Technologies, Inc. Well, not a hard question to answer: YES! I began to work on the graphics for the official K56flex web site. This was quite an undertaking working about 70 hours per work; 40 hours at TMC Media and 30 for Lucent. After 3 months I had to make a choice. Should I stay with a full-time job or go full-time freelance. Full-time freelance seemed to be the next logical step.
