Say hi to Surf Bernard™! This saint bernard digital illustration was created for Lucent Technologies, Inc. K56flex mascot. I studied many different saint bernard photographs to draw the new, never seen before Surf Bernard™. I first airbrushed the darks and lights of the saint bernard to communicate it's shape. Next, I applied filters and airbrushed the details of the eyes, nose and tongue. The Surf Bernard™ was also increased to 4 foot by 4 foot for Lucent's tradeshow booth at Comdex.
